Tellychakkar.com was the first to report about Gaurav Chopraa moving out of Colors’ Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions). He did that in order to buy time for his upcoming movie, Rangdari. Now the movie is complete and is on the verge to hit the screens soon. In Uttaran, he gained popularity by playing the character of Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore. But the latest we have learnt is that Gaurav will be seen again in the soap. So is he going to stay in the show for a longer period or his entry is just a cameo? “I will be entering for just a few episodes. I will be shooting for around 10 to 15 days post which I will leave to roll for my second film Lucky Kabootars,” shared Gaurav with Tellychakkar.com. The artist wasn’t very keen on playing a father to 18 year olds however, on insistence of producer Rupali Guha he got back, as he informed, “Rupali ji came up with a very interesting storyline for me. But I told her that I had an issue playing an old guy and I also had to get back to shooting for my next film in September. Rupali ji was fine with both hence I agreed to do the show.” Rathore will be young as ever though he will have a lot of baggage as the actor said, “Rathore is coming back after 18 years of a lonely life and it will show in his emotions and the way he talks to people. However, he will be seen fighting for rights of the people he always stood for.” So Rathore will exactly do? “He will support Ichcha (Tina Dutta), meet Meethi (also being played by Tina Dutta) and also meet his lost daughter Mukta (Sreejita De).” As per a reliable source, Rathore will be seen as an owner of a gambling club. Yuvraj (Saurabh Raj Jain) will enter the club and lose all his belonging in gambling. Finally, Rathore will learn that he is Veer’s (Vikas Bhalla) son and he will reach Bundela household. Rathore story will take a kick start from there. Incidentally, Gaurav had made an entry in Uttaran in 2010 in the month of August and his entry was a 10 day cameo. Similarly, even this time he makes an entry in the same month and for the same time frame. Gaurav’s entry will be aired in a day or two.
