Showing his acting prowess with his portrayal of an aged criminal in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur 2, Tigmanshu Dhulia seems to have taken his new-found profession quite seriously.
The director of <em>Paan Singh Tomar</em>, has been signed on to play an important character in Hansal Mehta’s new film <em>Shahid</em>.
Confirms Dhulia, “Just like Anurag, Hansal is also a friend of mine. And when he offered me the role, I could not say no to him.” In the film, Dhulia will play a lawyer and mentor to Rajkumar Yadav’s character.

The film is based on a true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi.
