MUMBAI: Tellychakkar is back with yet another exciting update from the glitzy world of entertainment. We love to treat our avid readers with exclusive news from the Film and Television industry.
Since the uncalled Pandemic was forced upon us, the movie buffs were heartbroken. It was the Digital Media that came as a savior for the entertainment buffs all over the world. With no choice to go to the theatres, Indians too started taking a massive interest in the OTT platforms. Now even after the lockdown is over people have got used to this platform and love to explore the different storylines and concepts these platforms offer.
Anuj Sharma made a mark in the entertainment industry with Films and Web series like Padmavat, Special Ops, 26/11 State of Siege, Madhuri talkies, UNDEKHI and Scotland. The actor made his debut with Ram Gopal Verma's film GO and went on to do several films and television serials thereon. He is also the famous face of Crime Patrol on Sony TV.
The actor has recently completed shooting for Satish Shukla's Jaunpur based on the life of Munna Bajrangi. Munna was an Indian gangster who was part of the integral politics of Uttar Pradesh. He was a name of fear in the Mirzapur, Jaunpur and Varanasi region. He was later shot dead in Baghpat.
The series will be a crime-political thriller and is directed by Satish Shukla who is known to be the director of Crime Patrol for 10 years and has also directed web series by Vikram Bhatt other than innumerable other projects. It is written by Kumar Siddharth.
The show will be presented by Sakhi Telefilms in association with BVM Films and is produced by Rahul Chavda and Abhishek Bindal. The DOP of Jaunpur is Anik Ram Verma who has also done films like Gully Boy, Made In Heaven, Special 26 and innumerable others.
In an EXCLUSIVE conversation with Tellychakkar Anuj Sharma revealed. '' Jaunpur is a special project for me as it showcases the hidden story of how a criminal mastermind is born because of the circumstances around him. The series also busts the gangster-politician nexus. During the lockdown, I shot for a Russian series titled Karantino directed by Lika krylaeva which was completely shot online. The web series has been given recognition in Moscow film festivals.''
The actor went on to reveal that he is excited to unfurl Jaunpur to the world audience through the magical medium of Digital Media.
