With a total of 28 medals, Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time. He tasted success at a young age. The sports star, who started swimming at the age of seven, qualified for the 2000 Summer Olympics at the age of 15. With this, he became the youngest male to make a U.S. Olympic swim team in 68 years. Though he did not win a medal, but it certainly motivated him, and today, he is widely regarded as the greatest swimmer of all time.
