Hi fans…Mukti Mohan’s here. I am going to share some secrets today (wink wink). To begin with… I hail from Delhi. All along I have stayed with my mom, dad and four sisters. I am the youngest of the lot. I love to spend time with my family and my friends.
I finished my schooling from BITS Pilani (Birla Institute of Technoly and Science) boarding school, Rajasthan. I was enrolled in the fourth standard. Later, when my dad was transferred to Mumbai, we all shifted here. Here, I completed my graduation in Psychology from St Xavier’s College. I ranked 3rd all over the state (Maharashtra).
I am a very simple and hard-working girl. I am always ready to learn different things in life. In my leisure time, I like to read books. These days, I am sketching a lot. Other than this, I love to dance as well. Though I am a trained Bharat Natyam dancer, I have learnt many other dance forms like jazz, ballet, hip hop and contemporary style. Then I took up a trainer’s job in the Terrence Lewis Academy and worked there for two years. From my childhood, I have always participated in theaters, dance, group dance activities and all kinds of events in festivals. However, my first love will always be theater.
Once when auditions were being conducted in my college, I tried my luck too. I later came to know that the auditions were for a show called MTV iSuperstar. As per the project’s concept, individuals were given a chance to act and dance like a Bollywood star in their own music video. Fortunately, I got selected and bagged a lifetime opportunity to re-enact Madhuri Dixit’s famous song Hum Ko Aaj Kal Hai from Sailaab.
At the shoot, I faced the camera for the very first time. To my relief, Saroj Khan helped me get my moves right. That was the best moment of my life that I will cherish forever. I have also done advertisements for many big brands like Dove Shampoo, Tic Tac Mouth Freshener, HSBC, Sony Ericson and many more. Later, I got an opportunity to be part of Star One’s dance reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Then I also did Sony Entertainment Television’s Comedy Circus with Kapil Sharma as my comedian partner.
These days I am doing theaters and short films and enjoying my work. I would like to thank my parents for their support in every step that I take. I love you all. Stay happy and healthy!!!
