The race amongst the leading GECs to take the #1 position in the ratings chart has picked up heat with just 20 GRPs separating the leader and the Number 4 placed channel. Yes, that’s the level of competition that the channels deal with every week..
So what does this week’s rating figures suggest? Have a glance..
Star Plus continues to be the #1 GEC with 252 GRP while Zee TV holds on to its #2 position with 235 GRP. Colors is in the #3 position with 233 points, and Sony Entertainment Television is just one point away with 232. SAB TV takes the #5 slot with 131 GRP, and Life OK which had gained big numbers last week (167) has dropped to 124 GRP.
Diya Aur Baati Hum (Star Plus) continues to rule at the top with 6.0 TVR, while Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Sony) takes the #2 position with 4.7 TVR. Balika Vadhu (Colors) takes the Number 3 spot with 4.5 TVR, followed by Saath Nibhana Saathiya (3.7) and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (3.4).
There is tough competition at the Weekend/Non-fiction with KBC (Sony), Dance Ke Super Kids (Zee TV), India’s Got Talent (Colors), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (Colors) and Comedy Circus (Sony) coming up with good numbers.
