Star Plus’ Khamoshiyaan, jointly produced by Trilogy Krikos and Thoughtrain Entertainment has been in the news for its extensive cast and storyline. Recently a certain section of the media reported that the actors of Khamoshiyaan (Star Plus), which also stars TV heartthrob Mohit Sehgal, are apparently unhappy as they do not have a clear picture on their characters and launch of the show.
Tellychakkar.com dug into this and got to the root of the problem. A reliable source gave us exclusive information that Trilogy Krikos’ cash crunch issue has caused the delay. Trilogy was forced to rope in Colosceum Media Pvt. Ltd. to finance them for the show. All seemed to be in place, but now Colosceum has also backed out. This has apparently put a question mark on the launch of the serial. We also hear that post the London schedule; the shoot of the show has been stalled.
We tried contacting producer Ila Bedi Dutta of Trilogy Krikos but we could not get her on the line.
Ajit Andhare, CEO and Founder of Colosceum Media Pvt. Ltd heard our entire story and then said, “I will talk to you later as I am in a meeting.”
When contacted, creative producer and co-producer Shakti Anand told us, “Yes, I had heard about Colosceum financing for Khamoshiyaan. But I do not have any other update. We are the creative producers, and all that I can tell you is that the show is on the right path creatively.”
We caught up with few actors of the show, who did confide that the shoot has been stalled for the moment.
For the uninitiated, Trilogy Krikos was already reported to be in a cash crunch situation with respect to their Zee TV show, Hitler Didi.
Let’s wait to see what lies in store for this promising show in future.
