After roping in Rushiraj Pawar to play Karthikeya, the makers have now brought in little kid Darshan Gurjar to play the younger version of Karthikeya. Darshan was earlier seen essaying the role of Chote in Imagine’s <em>Jumana Paar</em> (Director’s Kut Productions).

The birth of Karthikeya and the story forward is the next big high-point in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev and the Triangle Films Company show is focusing on it at the moment.
After roping in Rushiraj Pawar to play Karthikeya, the makers have now brought in little kid Darshan Gurjar to play the younger version of Karthikeya. Darshan was earlier seen essaying the role of Chote in Imagine’s Jumana Paar (Director’s Kut Productions).
His introductory sequence will be when the Kritikkas look out for Karthikeya who is hiding from them.
When contacted, Darshan’s mother Leena Gurjar confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Darshan is at the moment shooting for Mahadev. It is a dream come true for me. You would not believe this, but I have always liked watching Mahadev and wished that when the time comes for Karthikeya to be shown, Darshan should bag the role. And when the offer came to us, we refused 3-4 shows to take up this role. Even though this is a cameo of 4-5 episodes, this is a show worth doing. He has been given a very nice look.”
The buzz is that Darshan has bagged a Yashraj banner movie for which he will begin work soon.
