MUMBAI: Vikrant Massey took to Instagram on Thursday to share a few photos with his mother 'human-modak' Aamna Massey and 'better-half' Sheetal Thakur. As soon as the photos surfaced on the web, Vikrant's fans and followers showered him with congratulatory messages and dropped comments on his Instagram post sending their best wishes.
However, Vikrant asked his fans to 'reserve' their wishes, pointing out he isn't married yet. The now-viral pictures, where Vikrant is seen sitting with his mom and fiancée performing pooja-aarti, is from the 'grah pravesh' ceremony that he and his fiancée indulged in.
While Vikrant can be seen sporting a white kurta-pyjama set, his mom and fiancee both are dressed in yellow outfits, a colour that is considered auspicious in Indian culture.
The actor captioned it, “With my human-modak & better-half. (sic)”
Sheetal also shared a few photos on social media and captioned it, “New Beginnings with my one and only @vikrantmassey87. (sic)”

Vikrant got engaged to his 'Broken But Beautiful' co-star in 2019 and confirmed the news during an interview with Koimoi. He had said, "Yes we had a very small private function. I would talk about marriage and everything but at the right time."

Earlier, in December, Vikrant's social media account had been compromised. However, it was restored with a day due to the efforts by Mumbai police officials and the photo-sharing platform.
On the work front, Vikrant will be seen headlining the Hindi remake of the 2020 Malayalam film, Forensic. He will be seen playing the role of a meticulous forensic officer in the film. In the original film, actor Tovino Thomas was the protagonist.
"When I saw Forensic, I was immediately hooked to it. It is an intelligent film that keeps you on tenterhooks. At the same time, it is an out-and-out entertainer," Vikrant said.
Forensic is about a psychotic murderer, who sets out on a killing spree, and how a medico-legal advisor uses his forensic skills to unravel the truth behind the heinous deeds.
