The sexy Neetu Wadhwa does not seem to be like many other TV actresses who are so hung up on a quick migration to Bollywood that they seem to be ready to opt even for a bit role in any big film.
We have had several examples of this phenomenon recently. But this Sardarni from Chandigarh apparently has turned the tide by saying no to a bit role in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Chennai Express.
Explaining her action, she says, “Look… I am not asking for a lead role in film yet but at least I should offer something to the narrative. They say three scenes but you never know how many will be retained post edit. I just don’t want to be there only for one song etc.”
The gossip mills further inform us that after Neetu’s rejection… the role has e been given to some relative of director Rohit Shetty.
Neetu, last seen in Laagi Tujhse Lagan, further shares that she will continue to try for good roles in Bollywood.
Furthermore, she recently also turned down a bold film about a woman who uses her body to take revenge. “This newbie project titled Gubbbar was full of sex and nudity. I was also not sure about how it will be presented. I have no issues with boldness but the bottom line is that the bold part has to be presented with grace and style. I would not mind such a project but then it has to be helmed by somebody like the Bhatt camp who is past masters in this genre.”
In the mean time, Neetu has just finished shooting for an upcoming social service ad by a FMCG major made by an international production house. She refused to spell out more details saying, “the concerned authorities will talk about it in due course.”
