The latest to join the fray is Indra Kumar who has bought the rights of another popular Gujarati play Baa Ae Mari Boundary. Ant to top it all, the director has approached screen diva Rekha, who earned immense adulation in Rakesh Roshan’s 1988-made film Khoon Bhari Maang opposite Kabir Bedi¸ to star in his upcoming yet untitled film. The play tells the story of a middle-aged woman neglected by her family that comprises of her son, daughter and daughter-in-law. But her grandson, who arrives from the US, vows to make her popular by turning her into a successful model. Vivek Oberoi has been tipped to play the grandson. While Kanji Virrudh Kanji had a comic undertone to it, Baa Ae Mari Boundary is a very emotional and heartwarming tale. It is said that Kumar will take up the project after he finishes Grand Masti with Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh and Ajay Devgn among others. Rekha was last seen in Sadiyaan in 2010 along with Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini.
