The sixth month birthday was more for me than her: Pranitaa Pandit

MUMBAI: "Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki '' fame Pranitaa Pandit celebrated her daughter Anysha's sixth month birthday recently and shared that it was more of a celebration for her than her daughter because of the stress that she went through last year due to the pandemic.

The actress and her husband Shivi welcomed their daughter in August 2020.  Talking about the celebration, she said, "I feel the first year of a child's life is extremely special, and this is the only time when I feel it's going to be all about us and how we want it to be. Once they grow, they know what they want and how they want it to be."

"The sixth month birthday was more for me than her. The lockdown has been very stressful for a lot of moms, including me, as we have been stuck and I wanted to do so many things but I couldn't do it. So, I just wanted to make it special for her and me as it's a milestone and it should be celebrated," she added.  Pranitaa went on to say that a lot of things changed in her after she became a mom. Sharing her thoughts on motherhood, she said, "Motherhood has changed me as a human being, it's not just about my perception, it has changed everything about me. It changes you on all levels."

"Physically, you start to look a little different, you start feeling different, especially for the first year because emotionally you went through your ups and downs, and spiritually you evolve because there is so much patience that motherhood teaches you. The compassion, and kindness, you get are of another level. My mental state has completely changed now and I have learned a lot about my life," Pranitaa concluded.
