MUMBAI: 2020’s Blockbuster crime thriller Undekhi had got a massive response from the audience during the lockdown which was acclaimed afar for its intense storyline. The cast of Undekhi starring Surya Sharma, Harsh Chhaya, Abhishek Chauhan, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Anchal Singh was seen in the first season of the series which was directed by Ashish R Shukla. The series Undekhi follows the story of actual events and represents the dual facts of society i.e. the wealthy and strong privileged ignorant people who feel they can do whatever they want and the others who are weak and have been suffering torture for years but they want to stand for themselves, but nothing change. After the blockbuster hit series of Undekhi, the maker has now finally announced the Undekhi 2.0.
In a recent social media post, Sameer Nair, the CEO of Applause Entertainment found a unique way to announced the second season of the series. He has disclosed in a conversation on a social platform with the actor Surya Sharma aka Rinku Paaji from Season 1 of Undekhi. Sameer Nair posted a picture and captioned it has, "Delectable pork belly at San: Qui @fourseasons @mumbai with @surya_sharma_09 @rohit.philip.758 @applausesocial #undekhi #season2 #comingsoon.
And this social media post got noticed by the fans of Undekhi and also to the actors of the series, In reply to his post the versatile actor Surya Sharma replied and asked him, "Sameer sir I just saw that you’ve announced #undekhi season 2 with a picture of delicious pork belly", and then Sameer Nair replied to him," @surya_sharma_09 sinful, na? and the conversation goes on. Surya and all the actors are seen to be very excited for the second season.
Surya Sharma had played the character of Rinku Paaji which was critically acclaimed and loved by the audience, which became a major hit. Season 1 of Undekhi was a cliffhanger leaving the audience in suspense. Now Undekhi 2.0 is yet to cover up things left in season 1, which fans would definitely want to watch, so the producers can expect a good review already. The shoot might start by end of April this year.
