In the launch episode of "Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2" the audience gets to see that Pratigya is a mom-of-two and a fierce lawyer who will not let anyone mix her personal and professional life. The Thakur family, headed by Sajjan Singh, has changed for good and while Krishna and his father have reformed, his brother Shakti is not happy with this transformation. He has two sons who are seemingly jealous of Pratigya and Krishna's kids, and to seek revenge they lock Garv in a car and push it downhill. Garv is unable to unlock the car, or stop it, and the car accidentally pushes Balwant Singh's son off the cliff who later dies. Garv informs Krishna about the accident who wants to keep it a secret as this can result in a punishment for his son. But how long can he keep it a secret from Pratigya? And will he be able to save Garv?
