MUMBAI: With the alarming rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, Maharashtra announced a curfew from April 14 to May 1. The entertainment industry has come to a standstill and shootings will not happen for the next 2 weeks. However, a few production houses are chalking out a plan.
Sources close to the shows have said that Imlie and Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali have decided to shift their shooting location to Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao Studio. Imlie is currently shooting in Mumbai, and Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali's cast and crew is shooting in Kolhapur.
Last year in 2020, when shooting was stopped for 4 months, the entertainment industry had to bear heavy losses. However, this time, the production houses are not ready to face any challenges and have decided to move out of Maharashtra to shoot their daily soaps.
