Sudhanshu aka Vanraj of Anupama opens up about whether he was insecure about shooting with Rupali Ganguly

MUMBAI: Sudhanshu Pandey is a well-known actor in the entertainment industry and has done a lot of work in the world of television and Bollywood.

He was also a part of India's first boy band, A Band of Boys. He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Khiladi 420 alongside Akshay Kumar. He has done over thirty-five movies and a few television serials.

These days, Sudhanshu is ruling the television screens with his performance as Vanraj in Anupamaa, which is the most loved and watched serial. The audiences are loving his pair with Rupali Ganguly, who essays the role of Anupamaa.

In a recent interview, Sudhanshu was asked whether he was insecure about shooting with Rupali Ganguly, as she was the main focus in the serial, to which the actor replied that if he had to be insecure, he would have been at the start itself, as the show began with Anupama as the title.

He further said that he had told people that he was playing the main lead in the serial Anupama. He was a bit confused about how he was the main lead despite not playing the titular role but clarified that he doesn’t feel insecure as that can completely destroy the mindset of an actor. He is very secure in whatever he is playing.

Well, there is no doubt that though the title is Anupama and the character is at the forefront, Vanraj as a character also stands out. That’s because of the brilliant acting chops of Sudhanshu Pandey, who does complete justice to the role.
