Paras Kalnawat aka Samar of Anupama reveals why the show is successful, speaks about shooting in these tough times and how he handles social media

MUMBAI: Anupama is one of the most successful and top shows on television and always tops the BARC ratings.

The audiences love to watch the chemistry between Vanraj and Anupama and connect with the relationship of Samar and Rupali as they are one of the best mother and son duos on screen.

Paras these days is ruling the television screen with his performance as Samar, and people are loving his chemistry with Anagha aka Nandini.

Paras is the ideal idol son on television, which the audiences haven’t seen for a long time, and with his acting chops, he is doing full justice to the character of Samar.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Paras and asked him what is that one thing that the audiences connect with in the show that makes it such a huge success.

Paras said that the story is real and unique, and it focuses on a common middle-class family.

He further said that Samar and Anupama's relationship of a mother and son is relatable, and many moms and sons share that kind of relationship. That’s why the audiences connect to it and the show is so successful.

We also asked him what he thinks of social media and how he handles trolls to which he said that he hasn’t be trolled or gotten any negative feedback as yet. He does use social media to connect with his fans who bestow much love and affection on him and give him a platform to connect with them.

Finally, we asked him about shooting in these tough times of COVID and whether shooting in Mumbai should have been stalled, to which the actor said that it should have been continued with proper precautions.

He further said that on the sets of Anupama, the production team takes a lot of care of the entire cast and crew and they shoot with utmost precautions. Things can be handled and the shoot can be continued.

Well, there is no doubt that it is quite difficult to shoot in these tough times, but the show must go on.
