Apurva Agnihotri opens up on his character in Anupamaa; read inside

MUMBAI: Here we are back again with an exciting update from the world of television.

Anupama is one of the most successful and top shows on television, and it always tops the BARC ratings.

The audiences love to watch the chemistry between Vanraj and Anupama and connect to the relationship of Samar and Rupali, as they are among the best mother and son duos on screen.

The show is doing extremely well and topping the BARC ratings every week. The viewers are loving Sudhanshu Pandey's pairing with Rupali Ganguly, who essays the role of Anupama. 

The current track of the serial shows Anupamaa and Vanraj in a situation of major dilemma. Anupamaa's part of heart still doesn't want to end the relationship of years but has too little hope in hand as the divorce is nearing.  

Earlier it was reported that television's megastar Ram Kapoor is in talks with the show's producer Rajan Shahi to enter the show as Anupamaa's love interest. However, the news died a slow death as there wasn't any confirmation from either side but Tellychakkar exclusively broke the story of actor Apurva Agnihotri joining the cast of the show. 

We informed our avid readers about Apurva joining the show before any official announcement by the production house.  

The actor recently opened up about his character in the show and said, '' My character will bring twists and turns in the life of Anupamaa and Shah Parivaar. I decided to accept this role, because it is different in many ways. My character has a lot of layers.  There are many aspects and many shades to his personality which will come out as the show progresses. With this show, i will be back on TV after a gap of sometime. When Anupamaa was offered to me, it was too good an opportunity to refuse because obviously Rajan Shahi is one of the biggest Producers in the Television industry and this show is the most  successful show on Star Plus and TV, so there was really no reason to say no." 

Well, the handsome hunk's entry to the show is surely going to create many waves.
