Beintehaa actress Preetika Rao shares her view on whether social media is a curse or boon

Preetika is one of the most loved actresses of television and has a massive fan following.

MUMBAI: Preetika Rao is one of the most loved and celebrated actresses and is best known for her performance in the serials Beintehaa and Love Ka Hai Intezaar.

Her characters Aaliya and Mohini were loved by the audiences and had become household names. Her chemistry with Mohit Seghal and Harshad Arora was loved by fans. The Beintehaa pair had become a huge craze.

Post Love Ka Hai Intezar, she has been on a break from television, and fans miss watching her on-screen.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Preetika and asked her about her views on social media to which the actress said, "Social media for me is an obligation. I am active on it only for the love of my fans and for the nearly 1000+ fan clubs online cementing me and Beintehaa.  Fans want to see me every day, and that is why I am active for them ..otherwise, I would have deleted Instagram long ago!"

“Instagram is totally ruining the upcoming generation, making them self-obsessed and I feel pathetic when I see young girls who are even under-age wearing bikini tank tops and dancing seductively like a bar dancer for attention, likes, comments, and followers. It is really a pathetic world out there, which I personally cannot relate with. I quit Twitter last year and I don't see myself on Instagram for more than 4 to 5 years unless I can really use the medium for some positive influence," said the actress.

Well, no doubt that it’s been a while since Preetika Rao hasn’t been seen on the small screen, and fans are waiting to see her.
