Mere Sai has become the most adored religious show among its fans with its interesting storyline and upcoming twists. The show has been focusing on the rudimental norms of society and how Sai teaches his followers to change them and turn society into a safe and better place to live in.
Kirtida Mistry, well-known for her debut in Piya Rangrezz, is all set to enter the show in the role of Sugandha, a girl whose parents will give dowry at the time of her marriage in the hope that it will keep her happy in her new abode and family.
But that becomes a hook for her greedy in-laws to keep demanding more and more dowry from her parents on regular basis, in some form or the other, while keeping the girl in the dark. This goes on until the girl's parents are left impoverished and struggling for their own survival.
Sugandha’s story shall bring a new turn to Sai’s teachings; it will be interesting to see how Sai will handle this social issue of Dowry and solve Sugandha and her family’s problems. Dowry has been an obvious issue in society. Due to the practice being an offense, families now call it a sweet gesture of gifting and continue it, hidden under the layers of fear for their daughter's well-being.
