MUMBAI: Zaan Khan is a popular face on the small screen. The actor is currently seen in the television show Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye.

Zaan Khan along with actors Gracy Goswami, Shagun Pandey, Yash Tonk and Anchal Sahu is currently shooting in Gujarat for the show. Zaan has been feeling homesick for the past few weeks because of shooting in a bio bubble. He said to Times of India, “I am missing my family and home so much that I cannot even express in words. I haven’t been able to go home for Ramzan and Eid. In 27 years I hadn’t missed my mother’s birthday even once, but this year, I did. I never knew acting would one day become such a 'sacrificing job'. But on the other hand, I feel people like me are blessed because we have jobs; there are so many people who are not working at this time.”

When he was asked how he is spending time there, he shared with the daily, “I am spending most of my time with the cast and crew and they are like family to me. But can anything replace the space which is occupied in your lives by your family? We all sit together after pack-up, but the first thing we want to do is to talk to our families and know what they are up to. So we all go back to our rooms and speak with our loved ones.” So what does he do to keep himself occupied when he is not busy shooting? He said, “Till the time I am shooting everything is okay, but after packup, I start feeling homesick. I have a fixed schedule. I wake up early in the morning and start my workout so that I can stay in good shape. Since I don’t have a gym here, I do a lot of cardio and bodyweight exercises. Working out keeps me sane and happy. I go for a run too in the evenings once post shooting. This is what I am doing as of now... let's see when I get the chance to visit my Amma.”
