The latest contestant to get evicted from the final five of Star Plus’ Voice of India 2 is Ritisha Padmanaba. She was one of the bottom three contestants along with Ravi Shukla and Saptaparna Chakraborty.
A source from the show says, “After the format change Ritisha, Ravi and Saptaparna found themselves in the danger zone and Ritisha was eliminated because of the lack of votes.”
It is to be remembered that the format was changed after the judges cried foul on the show over the eviction of Vipul. It was later decided that the judges will choose the top two contestants in every episode according to the performances thus saving the more talented participants. The remaining three will automatically come in the bottom three and the one who gets the least number of votes will be eliminated. Now the final tussle is between the remaining four participants Vipul Mehta, Mallar Karmakar, Saptaparna Chakraboty and Ravi Shukla.
The elimination will be aired on Friday, 10 pm on Star Plus.
