MUMBAI: Pearl V Puri was arrested on Friday, June 4, by the Waliv police, for an alleged rape and molestation case. Ever since the news got out, almost the entire television industry spoke about Pearl's innocence.
Earlier in the day, Divya Khosla Kumar, who collaborated with him for the song Teri Aankhon Mein also extended support to him. She revealed details of the case and hoped that the truth will win.
While there is no clear resolution in sight and no decision on his guilt or innocence, there's a lot that's happened since the allegations surfaced in the media.
Many celebs such as Krystelle D'souza, Siddharth Malhotra, Aamir Ali, Urvashi Dholakia, Vikaas Kalantri, and Ishita Dutta, among others took to their Instagram to support Pearl with the hashtag #IstandwithPearl. The actors were later met with a major backlash by the Twitterrati for supporting him without any judgement by the court.
Now, yet another actress has come out in support of Pearl and has also divulged some shocking details about the victim's mother who also happens to be her close friend.
