EXCLUSIVE: Pawan Shankar talks about his experience shooting for international award winning short film Adhure Poore Se Hum!

While this film won 39 awards in International Film Festivals across the world including Cannes, Adhure Poore Se Hum was released by Disney + Hotstar on June 3.

MUMBAI: Pawan Shankar is a multi-faceted artist.

The actor has won several Television awards as he marked his debut in the world of acting with Siddhant and was a part of television shows such as Kya Huaa Tera Vaada and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega.

While his most awaited project is Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India, he shot for a short film for which he is being showered with tons of appreciation. We are talking about Adhure Poore Se Hum which is produced by Bubblewrap Entertainment and directed by Mrigank Dubey. The film features Pawan along with Priyamvadda Sawant. While this film won 39 awards in International Film Festivals across the world including Cannes, Adhure Poore Se Hum was released by Disney + Hotstar on June 3.

The short film narrates the story of two college time friends, who embark on a long drive on a Sunday morning. As they amble through the hilly roads, they reveal to each other, their old longings and hidden pasts.  Their rose-tinted nostalgia is broken, and they come face to face with their imperfect lives. The short film is a gist of how some people stay together but they don’t love each other and sometimes, some love each other but they don’t stay together.

Tellychakkar.com connected with Pawan and in an exclusive interview, he revealed, “My experience shooting for the film was very good and my chemistry with my co-actor Priamvada Sawant was fantastic. There are only two people in the entire film so it was a very performance oriented project. When there are only two actors in a film and are talking from start to end, so the chemistry started from the word go. Infact, for Priyamvada, she mentioned how she found it difficult to get out of her character and the zone. Every 5 minutes the story took a different turn and went to another topic. This type of film can be shown to the to-be brides on what kind of man they would want to get married to and make the right decision.

I am now looking forward to Bhuj: The Pride of India. This is one of the biggest projects of my life. It has a huge starcast. I would like to add that one should keep trying for what they want to achieve till the end moment as you would never know when destiny would turn tables for you.“

Way to go Pawan! (Also Read: Pandya Store: BIG BIG TWIST! Shiva makes a life-long promise to Raavi; to never leave her under any circumstances)
