Sheetal Malhar to appear on Midnite Manual Supermodels, Sheetal Mallhar along with Nina Manuel will be seen in Midnite Manual which will be aired on Zee Music on 1 December, 2005 at 11 pm. Nina and Sheetal who would be speaking in Tulu, to create humuor in the conversation, will be seen for the first time giving an interview on screen. The ladies would be clad in white to match the cause as this episode is World Aids Day special. An official admission? Karan Oberoi all but blushed when he opened the winner's envelope and found that the best actor (female) award had gone to co-artiste Mona Singh. When he read out Mona's name, he said,"This is a special award for somebody who's really special to me." Thus far the duo have been wary of expressing their emotions for each other. But when a beaming Mona hugged Karan and accepted her award, we thought they had admitted it in ways that couldn't have been possible otherwise! Ekta turns copycat! The Indian Telly Awards are one place where rivalrises dissolve into hearty camaraderie. Comedy emperor J D Majethia and soap empress Ekta Kapoor proved this at Sunday's event. When it was JD's turn to walk up for his award for the best weekly serial, JD jocularly asked the audience to check out his Friday evening show and help his ratings. Ekta, who laughed uproariously at the remark, tried the same stunt, albeit in a different vein when it was her turn to say her bit after winning the best continuing serial award. "Watch my serial now from Mondays to Thursdays, and please watch it on Fridays too!" The fact that both of them could share a laugh over the matter is an indicator that not all rivalries are cantankerous, wot say? Raymon carries her burden of joy with her to Telly Awards Most telly stars were shooting even on a lazy Sunday till the evening hours before they packed up to make it to the fifth edition of the Indian Telly Awards. Of those who were not working but still managed to make it to the Chitrakut grounds in Andheri was an extremely preggy Raymon Singh, who walked in quite early in a striking embroidered black salwar suit and coordinated hand bag. But the pretty lady who's due to deliver on 16 December, refused to give sound bytes to hovering journalists saying she didn't want to face cameras with her big tummy! But we say she was looking prettier than ever! Abhijeet yet to shift Abhijeet Sawant who made a surprise entry at the awards, admitted that though he had bought a new house at Vile Parle, he continues to live in his old house at Mahim. "There were some legalities that could not be worked out," he says. "Of course, I want to move out, but I don't see it happening in the near future." Idol talk?
