MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka ooltah Chashmah fame Ghanashyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka is undergoing cancer treatment. The actor had some spots in his neck in April, post which he has been undergoing chemotherapy. However, he shared that he is doing fine and waiting to resume shooting in Mumbai.

"I am absolutely fine and healthy. There’s no such big issue. In fact, viewers will get to see me in an episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah tomorrow. It is a very special episode and I hope they will like my work again," he said.

Talking about his treatment, Ghanashyam said, "Yes, the treatment is on and I hope I will be all good. It’s fine and I am going through the treatment and after tomorrow’s episode, I hope the shoot soon resumes in Mumbai and I get back to work. I am eagerly waiting to get back to work. I go through chemotherapy and it happens once in a month. The doctor has told me I can work and there is no problem. I just want to spread positivity and tell everyone that I am doing fine."

He recently shot for an episode in Daman and shared, "I had a fun time shooting in Daman, it was great to reunite with the cast again. I shot an episode there. I am fit and fine and I can shoot. Whatever the news is going around is old and I want to tell everyone I am fine now. I know I am going to live for 100 years and nothing will happen to me, I know that for sure."

Does the COVID-19 situation makes him worry about his health?
"The COVID situation has been going on since last year and it will be here but that doesn’t mean I will get scared and sit at home. I am a positive person and never get upset or negative in life. I want to work till the last breath of my life and would like to die with my makeup on. I just want God to fulfil my wish," said the actor.
