MUMBAI: YouTube's Creator of Change, a documentary on girl's education where Michelle Obama is seen in conversation with Prajakta Koli along with Liza Koshy and Thembe Mahlaba, won the Daytime Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Daytime Non-Fiction Special'.
Prajakta Koli, who was last seen in Netflix's Mismatched, shared a post after Creator of Change won the Daytime Emmy.
Prajakta Koli took to Instagram to share the great news and has shared a collage of pictures where she is posing with Michelle Obama, Liza Koshy and Thembe Mahlaba. She captioned it as, "And look what happened. .. Love you @_thembemathe @lizakoshy @michelleobama @youtube (sic).".

Creator of Change was helmed by Michelle Obama and delved into the experiences of adolescent girls who overcome adversities to pursue education in India, Namibia, and Vietnam.

Even Michelle Obama took to her Instagram to share the good news as well. She shared pictures with Prajakta, Liza Koshy and Thembe Mahlaba and wrote, "I'm so thrilled to hear the exciting news that @YouTube's Creators for Change on Girls' Education Special won the award for Outstanding Daytime Non-Fiction Special at the @DaytimeEmmys. The special features some truly remarkable young women from the @GirlsOpportunityAlliance from countries like Namibia, India, and Vietnam. @LizaKoshy, @MostlySane, and @_ThembeMathe visited our Girls Opportunity Alliance Network's work around the world to share these stories, which showcase how education can transform girls' lives and create ripple effects across communities (sic).".
Prajakta Koli reposted Michelle Obama's post on her Instagram stories and wrote, "Never ever getting used to this. Thank you for making me a part of this (sic).".

The 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards was announced on June 25. 'The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' revealed the list of winners in a virtual ceremony. The award show recognises excellence in daytime television programming in the US.
