MUMBAI: Asha Negi has carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. She is famous for portraying the role of Purvi Deshmukh in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta.
Asha made her OTT debut with Ekta Kapoor's Baarish seasons 1 and 2 have got a positive response for her performance.
She has a massive fan following and her fans bestow a lot of love and support for her. Just a few months she grabbed the headlines for her break up with Rithvik Dhanjani.
She has also participated in many reality shows like Nach Baliye and Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Now in a recent interview, Asha spoke about how she got depressed when her projects didn’t work.

The actress said that after being part of such a successful show like Pavitra Rishta the other two show that she didn’t do well and went off the air in no time which left her dejected.
Asha said that after the failure of her shows, she felt depressed, lost all her confidence, and also had zero self-esteem left. She didn’t know what to do at the time but then decided to wait and choose the right projects and scripts.
But she didn’t lose hope and fought it out until she didn’t get the right project in her hand and then when the gates of OTT opened for her and she once again bounced back.
The actress at the end said that this all a part and parcel of the industry and being strong is the only way one can survive here.
