MUMBAI: Casting director Ankita Bajaj has been contributing to the industry for a while now. She has managed the casting for different digital and Bollywood projects. She recently handled the casting for an upcoming short series on Disney+Hotstar titled Ankahi, Ansuni: Jhaagi Files.
Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with her, where she revealed her experience during the casting process of this thriller web series. She expressed her excitement with regard to her web series and revealed that it was a challenging process but the team has nailed it. Talking about casting for the character played by Paresh Pahuja, she revealed that the actor was the only choice for this particular role of inspector, and after looking at how he has performed, she was bang on.

Ankita also revealed that Veebha Anand was approached for some other character, but the actress gave an audition for the constable role and was the best match for the character. On the other hand, Swati Rajput is one of the most versatile actresses, and what she has done with her character is amazing to see.
Ankita also revealed that it will be a treat to watch writer Vibhuti Upadhyay making his acting debut with this web series.
