MUMBAI: Tellychakkar.com is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
It was only recently that we reported that Saath Nibhaana Saathiya will soon roll out a rebooted version on Star Bharat.
According to the news received, the background of the show will remain the same. It will have a Gujarati backdrop however, the narrative will be entirely different. According to our sources, Jyoti Mukherjee will play the central character Gopi’s stepmother. Maharishi Dave will play the stepbrother of Gopi.
We already reported that Hemmanshi Ruparel and Mohammad Nazim are also being roped in. According to media reports, Roadies fame Rajkumar has also come aboard and now we have news that Gujarati stage actor Hitesh Sampat, who is also known for his projects in the likes of London Calling, Tera Tota Meri Maina and Saali Poori Gharwali has been roped in for the show.
While it was earlier reported that Saath Nibhaana Saathiya will have a prequel, the show is headed for a reboot on Star Bharat and it is not a prequel. Well, this has definitely raised our excitement level as we can't wait to see what's in store for us. Saath Nibhana Saathiya's first season which aired on Star Plus had a successful run for 7 years.
