MUMBAI: Apart from fiction, Jasmin Bhasin’s tryst with non-fiction on the tube has been an interesting one. The actor has been a part of shows such as Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India, Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 14. Among all these, one of her most commendable efforts has been in Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK).
Sharing about how it felt to conquer her fear on Khatron Ke Khiladi, the actor says, “I think it was the most amazing and life changing experience when you conquer your fear. That show has contributed so much to my life and the person I am today. A show like KKK changes you completely. The best kick is when you face your fear and win over it.”
The other reality show where Jasmin got a lot of love was Bigg Boss. In fact, not many know that she has a huge crush on Salman Khan, the host of the reality show.
“Bigg Boss was another learning experience and it was one of the most difficult challenges that I believe I took. Both emotionally and mentally it was one the most difficult shows to deal with. Salman sir is one the best hosts. I cannot imagine Bigg Boss without Salman sir. To me he was the nicest person on the show who understood me, knew me, treated me like a child… he was strength to me. If I went wrong anywhere he was there to guide me. I have so much love and respect for him,” says the actor known for TV shows, Tashan-e-Ishq, Dil Tak, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Naagin 4.
Jasmin’s bonding with beau, actor Aly Goni, who was a fellow contestant on the show, was also loved by the audience.
“My bonding with Aly was loved because we have been friends for years. More than a friend, he is a companion and a very good person. There was definitely too much pressure to stay away from family, friends, completely cut from the outside world. With him around things were better… Your state of mind is different inside the house and you don’t realise a lot of things and suddenly simple things start affecting you. Bigg Boss is not an easy journey,” she ends.
