Preeta and Karan are left in shock as even the doctor at City Hospital confirms that Karan is the father of Sonakshi's daughter. Karan begs for the truth from Sonakshi and she reveals that yes he is the father of her child although she never mentioned it to him earlier.
In the upcoming episode, Post Sonakshi's revelation, Preeta asks the family to return to Luthra house. She is devastated but decides to stay back at Luthra House and hides the truth from Sarla maa. She refuses to stay in the same room with Karan and heads out to the guest room,
The next moment, Sherlyn calls Sarla maa and enquires if she knows the truth behind Preeta's sadness. She breaks the news to Sarla maa and instigates her to take Preeta away from the Luthra mansion and Karan's life.
