We all know that actress Mitaali Nag is also seen in the show where she is seen as Devyani Pulkit Deshpande on the show.
The actress has played the role of a mentally challenged woman who is slowly on the road to recovery.
Well, there were earlier reports about Mitaali quitting the show and several reasons were doing the rounds of social media.
In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Mitaali spoke in length about a lot of things.
On being asked the actual reason behind leaving the show, she said, ''I felt that all the aspects with regards to my track were explored on the show. Earlier, when Devyani was living in Chavan niwas she was a major support to Sai. But that wasn't practically possible as Devyani started living with Pulkit post her marriage. It wasn't an easy decision to make. I took a lot of time and thought over it and then decided to let go of Devyani.''
Further, when asked if there was an issue with her character's growth, she said, ''I would give maximum credit to my fans and followers because the constant love they were pouring on me and expressing disappointment over my quitting was overwhelming. Even the makers had not accepted my resignation and I appreciate that they valued our association. They were kind enough to give the reassurance that the actor in me needed.''
Lastly, Mitaali reveals what made her change the decision and stay back in the show.
She said, ''Every actor crave to play a character which is remembered by the audience. It definitely happened in the case of Devyani. People loved me as much as I loved Devyani. So, this adulation and love for the viewers for Devyani was a great motivation. However, there is one more motivation for an actor and that is a character graph. The more challenging the scenes, the more exciting it gets to play the role. Having said that, I also understand that in a daily soap, the track will not always focus on one character and it keeps shifting.''
Produced by Cockcrow Entertainment and Shaika Films, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Kusum Dola.
The show also stars Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Kishori Shahane, Mitaali Nag, Sheetal Maulik, Adish Vaidya, Shailesh Datar among others.
