MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya is a drama produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms.
Krishna Kaul is an integral part of the show as he was introduced after a 20-year leap. The show was rebranded as "Dusri Pidhi". Krishna Kaul, plays the role of Ranbir in the show. He has also tried his hands on singing along with acting. We asked him about his passion for singing and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, he shared, “Not really! Was giving it a shot. I might do it some another time but not professionally right now.”

Q: What was your first salary and how did you earn it?
A: My first salary was 2000rs and I earned it in a TV commercial for which I was street casted , I was walking with my friends and random people come up and asked would you like to audition for something and I said why not I would love to and I auditioned on the street and they casted me for an ad, and when I shot and came out I got 2000rs which was my first salary.
Q: What is your comfort food on the sets of the show?
A: Lately it’s brown bread with butter and chai, I honestly forget about it because this is what we ate in childhood and one day Mughda said let’s order it and the day I started eating that it became my favourite and now in break I eat it , it is very nostalgic.
Q: If not an actor what profession would you find yourself into?
A: I would be in public relations, because once I was done with my college I started working in PR managing terms and I really enjoyed calling people and convincing them to buy products.
Q: Who is your best friend from the industry?
A: My best friend from the industry would be Arun Sharma he is also from the industry, he just won roadies last to last year, whenever we come back home we tell each other everything and we’ve been living together since 2 years.
Q: Who is your childhood crush?
A: My childhood crush has always changed with age, I used to have crush on my class teacher.
