MUMBAI: According to the latest reports, the Bombay High Court has quashed the two FIRs filed by Ayesha Shroff, who is Jackie Shroff's wife, in Mumbai against actor Sahil Khan, over allegations of cheating and criminal intimidation- a business dispute in 2015.
The report further stated that a bench of Justices SS Shinde and NJ Jamadar quashed the two FIRs which were registered by the Bandra police, after Sahil's lawyer and Ayesha told the court that they had settled the dispute between them cordially.
Talking about the development, Ayesha told ETimes, “It was an out-of-court settlement. But let me tell you I withdrew the cases 5 years ago. It has come to light only now simply because the quashing happened today. There's a procedure that was meant to be followed after the withdrawal of the complaint and that took time."
Ayesha was further asked if there was any money transaction involved in the settlement, to which she said that she can neither dwell on that nor on the reasons why she took the step of withdrawing what she had earlier filed because, "There's an MOU (Memorandum Of Understanding) signed between the two parties which forbids from these things to be let out."
Ayesha reportedly told the High Court that while she had also raised an issue of non-payment of dues by Sahil Khan worth over Rs 4 crore in her complaint, she had decided not to pursue the claim or any other allegations made in the two FIRs.
