MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Sirat and Kartik's Jodi is the most adored onscreen duo at present.

Currently, in the show, Kairav keeps trying to apologise to Sirat, but she ignores him for his betterment. Kartik makes him understand his mistake and asks him to apologise to Sirat with all his heart.
Kairav breaks down in front of Ganpati Ji and asks for an apology, Sirat finally forgives him and gives him a tight hug. Looking at this the family members applaud her for making the right decision for the kids and call her a good mother. This irks Surekha as they taunt her for the words she used earlier.
Previously, a guest comes to their place and reveals how their new daughter-in-law ignored her grandson after she gave birth to her own and made him feel worse than a step-child, listening to this Surekha instigates the same fear in the family members that what if Sirat gets pregnant and does the same. Sirat shuts Surekha and assures Swarna that nothing like this would happen with Kairav and Akshu, even if she has a baby she wouldn't move away from the responsibility.
Sirat doesn't tell Kartik about her pregnancy as she doesn't get a chance to say, and while checking the papers Kartik comes to know that Sirat is pregnant. He thinks she hid it from him and gets furious at her. How will Sirat make Kartik believe that it's not the truth, she just didn't get a chance to reveal it despite wanting to?
In the upcoming episode, Sirat returns home and reveals that the doctor said she isn't pregnant. The family isn't ready to believe her but she proves her point and calms Kartik's anger. Later, while they are doing Ganpatiji's visarjan, Sirat falls unconscious and Kartik takes her to the doctor.
The doctor finally confirms that Sirat is pregnant and a baby is all set to come into their life. The duo is overjoyed with the news and plans to give a special surprise to the family with this news.
