Dino Morea, the dashing model turned actor and producer feels that youth festivals give the young generation a chance to showcase their talent. Says Dino, “It also gives an opportunity to producers like me (he produced Jism 2) to find new talent.”
On the recent hullabaloo created over his erotic thriller Jism 2, he shares, “The movie was an adult love story. We Indians are usually cagey when it comes to talking about sex. We love to have sex, and in fact are the second largest population in the world when it comes to the rate of children being born. And children get born through sex and not through debates, right?”
The actor has no qualms in accepting that he did not reach the peak of his acting career as he tells us, “I did not get very good offers. I started off well with Raaz but many projects after that did not work.”
Between producing and acting, he likes the latter any day. “I will be back the moment I get some juicy project.”
On rumours about having a link-up with Bipasha Basu, Dino avers, “She is a very good friend. We meet once or twice a week. If something happens between us, you will be the first to be informed.”
Presently, Dino is working on two more films as a producer. “I have finished scripting for one of my movies. Casting process is on for the other one.”
Way to go, Dino!!!
