MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has become the longest-running show on TV right now. Sirat and Kartik's Jodi is the most adored onscreen duo at present.

Currently, in the show, at Aarohi's annaprashan, Sirat's students come and mention the Asian Tournament. They ask Sirat to participate but she refrains from going ahead, saying her daughters are quite young. Kartik tries to convince her for the tournament and assures her that her career will not affect his children's future.
Previously, the family members stand against Kartik on his this decision they try to make him understand why the daughters need Sirat. But Kartik is adamant and tries to make Sirat realise that her career is equally important. Sirat finally tears the form and ends the discussion.
Kartik feels disappointed but Gayu suggests that she would help him make Sirat realise how important is her career with the responsibilities. She must think about both aspects and then decide. The tournament is once in a lifetime opportunity. She finally gets to go to the boxing training and the family members agree to take care of the children. Sirat feels anxious at the beginning but Swarna assures her not to get worried about them.
In the upcoming episode, Kairav comes home with news that he wishes to see his parents in the school while he wins the prize. Kartik denies that Sirat will not come for the function but Sirat promises him that she will come. On the function day, Sirat fails to reach Kairav's school; he gets furious with her and mentions that if she wasn't going to come then she shouldn't have even promised about her visit.
