MUMBAI: The arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan concerning the Mumbai cruise ship drug bust with NCB extending the custody of the star kid has also led the investigations to widen more. Now buzz is that the co-founder of the event management company ‘Namascray’ associated with the luxurious cruise has been arrested.
According to reports, along with the co-founder being arrested, there have also been reports that apart from rigorous grilling and joint interrogation with friend Arbaaz Merchant, on the alleged links to peddlers, the NCB has claimed a link with arrested drug peddler Shreyas Nair. Apparently, Shreyas has allegedly supplied drugs to 25 passengers. Drugs were probably brought by cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, the NCB has summoned the CEO of the cruise ship for the second time, and will question him again apart from seeking CCTV details and lists of passengers.
The Mumbai police have also launched a probe against ship officials for not taking formal permission for the rave party on the cruise. Reportedly, the organizers are facing charges for flouting covid norms , failing to pay entertainment tax and for also ignoring cyclone warnings in the Arabian sea.
So far, the anti-drugs agency has arrested twelve people, after raiding the Goa-bound ship on Saturday. On Tuesday, additional chief metropolitan magistrate R M Nerlikar remanded Abdul Qadir Sheikh (30), Shreyas Nair (23), Manish Rajgariya (26) and Avin Sahu (30) to the NCB custody till October 11.
