EXCLUSIVE: Harry Potter inspired me to make fiction superhero content: Dushyant Kapoor on his passion for acting and love for superheroes

Actor and filmmaker Dushyant Kapoor, who has been the part of many projects like 1945: Naam Namak Nishan and 2020: End of the world, exclusively spoke to TellyChakkar with regard to his acting journey and about making animated superheroes.

MUMBAI: Actor and filmmaker Dushyant Kapoor has been winning the hearts of fans with his acting and filmmaking contribution. Dushyant is known for creating some amazing animated superheroes over time. We have also seen him acting in a few projects.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Dushyant with regard to his acting journey where he also spoke in detail about how he deals with rejections and downfalls. 

Dushyant Kapoor on his acting journey 

Dushyant Kapoor says that when he was in school, he always wanted to do something creative. He never thought of being an actor in his life, but when he saw the movie Harry Potter, he wanted to make something like this in India and be a part of it. He made something similar, but the project never got released. And later, he went on to explore content creation and acting talent. The actor made a few small videos based on different subjects and acted in them. This was when he was in college, and later, his talent got recognition and he got his debut show Mahakal in the year 2016. 

Dushyant Kapoor on types of characters he looks forward to doing on digital platform 

Dushyant Kapoor reveals that he is looking to play different types of characters on digital platforms. With the rise in consumption of content, we can see some amazing series and movies coming on digital platforms, and the actor would love to play some serious or intense type of characters. 

Dushyant also reveals that his acting inspiration is Hollywood actor Jim Carrey. He just loves the actor for his comic timing and enthusiasm.

Dushyant Kapoor on dealing with rejections and downfall in life 

Dushyant has seen many rejections and downfalls in his life. It has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Whenever such a situation arises in his life, he takes his own time and stays alone to watch his previous work and videos that he had created during his initial days. He always thinks that his current position is much better than what he started from. So he looks at the positive side of life and focuses on his work. 

The actor also said that fans will see some more amazing shades of him as an actor and there will be some great content coming from his side. He is very thankful to his fans and followers for appreciating and loving his work till date.
