Sphere Origin's 'English Vinglish' for Star Plus

Sphere Origins has always been successful in churning out concepts that are of various genres. And after attempting a unique show which talks about the Mumbai blasts through their recently launched show on Life OK, 26-12, the production house is now all set to attempt a show that will glorify the bonding between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. The news is that Sphere Origins is working on a concept which is loosely based on the concept of the Sridevi comeback vehicle English Vinglish. The show will be based on the bonding between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and how the mother-in-law instills confidence in her less-educated daughter-in-law to study further and make a name for herself. We hear that the casting for this show in presently on, and will air on Star Plus. We tried contacting Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but could not get through to him. Let’s see if this concept clicks on the small screen.
