MUMBAI: Ahead of Aryan Khan's bail hearing, the Narcotics Control Bureau is planning to oppose his plea once again. According to reports, the central agency has said in a statement to the Bombay High Court that Shah Rukh Khan's manager appears to have "influenced" a witness, states NDTV.
The agency claimed that an "attempt to tamper with the investigation and derail it" has been made and that it needs 'more time' to investigate the alleged "international drug connection of Aryan Khan."
It adds that the NCB has asked for "sufficient time" to unearth their alleged international drug connection. The agency has also alleged that the actor's son, with his 'influential position', could tamper with evidence and influence other witnesses.
Aryan, has been in custody since October 2 in the drugs case. This will be the star kid's fourth attempt at bail.
Meanwhile, the NCB and its officers in the case are facing charges of alleged 'extortion bid of Rs 25 crore' in the case. The agency has ordered a vigilance inquiry into the claims made by a witness.
