MUMBAI: Off late there is a trend of old hit shows returning with a new season on TV. Shows like Balika Vadhu, Sasural Simar Ka, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Thapki Pyar Ki and Bade Acche Lagte Hain have made a comeback with new seasons.
One of the popular shows which returned with a new season featuring the same leads is Sony TV’s Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi starring Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernades.
The new season’s plot was about Sonakshi and Dev's growing distances, with the backdrop of parenthood, family-management and self-time. The show started on 12 July 2021. However, in spite of the great storyline, Shaheer and Erica returning, the show did not match up to the viewers’ expectations.
The show was meant to be a finite series and it is soon expected to come to an end.
TellyChakkar has learnt that the cast will be wrapping up their shoot on 29 October.
Before the show’s wrap-up, Erica Fernades put up a long cryptic post on her social media profile today. There were strong rumours about Erica Fernandes quitting Kuch rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi season 3. While the actress was quizzed several times about it, she remained tight-lipped to date has expressed her disappointment (Read here: BREAKING!
