MUMBAI: Ever since the trailer of the web series Grigit was out the fans were eagerly waiting for the show as it promises some amazing storyline with a lot of twists and turns and some great performances. This shows stars Roshan Sahdev, Taniya Kalra, Ashmita Jaggi, Trupti Khamkar and Samar Vermani. Finally, the show is out and here is the complete review of the show
The premise of the show deals with the missing case of Janvi who is the wife of Ranbir. And how there are back-to-back events that are connected to each other, what has happened to Janvi, and how this story is connected to other parallel stories is something shown in this web series.
Talking about the screenplay of the web series it is very fast, the viewers may get confused between the flashback and the current scenes. On the other hand, the direction given by Santosh Shetty is quite decent. But special mention to the locations which are covered which is shown beautifully in the show.
Talking about the performances it is indeed a treat to watch actor Nakul Roshan Sahdev, the actor has managed to grab your attention with his layering of acting, we will see different shades of actress Taniya Kalra and she manages to be one of the head-turners of the show, on the other hand, Ashmita Jaggi decent on her part. Actress Trupti Khamkar’s acting falls flat but Samar Vermani is quite decent as the cop in the show.
The positive point of the series can be the fast-paced screenplay which will never allow you to get bored. Special mention to the BGM which runs throughout the show will surely enhance your viewing experience. As mentioned earlier the location covered in the show is amazing and it's a treat to watch. The performance delivered by Nakul is a treat to watch the actor indeed is seen in a never seen before avatar.

Talking about the negative points of the show, as mentioned the screenplay of the show is very fast but it is confusing at the same time. The performance of every actor other than Nakul falls flat. The dialogues given by every character are strictly average, whereas in a thriller series something like this we expect some better dialogue writing. As the series progresses it lacks conviction and many times you may fail to connect to the show. Also, the intimate scenes look forceful at many points. The show serves you thrills but in pieces.
Having said all these points, the web series is a strictly one-time watch and can be seen if you are a thriller show fan.
Team TellyChakkar goes with 2.5/5 for Girgit.
