Though the Deols (Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby) have not been in circulation off late, there must be something about them that continue to inspire filmmakers. And, when served as a family pack with emotions and high drama along with, they never fail to enthrall and amuse the audience.
The success of Yamla Pagla Deewana (YPD) has proved that the three are as good as a unit. And if whispers in trade circles are to be believed, this year will see the father-sons combo featuring in not one but at least four films.

Barring the YPD sequel, that is scheduled to open on 7 June (2013), Subhash Ghai has signed up the trio for a rom-com titled Ishq De Maara.
The film is the story of a father and his two sons. While all the three of them are in love, they hide the fact from each other.
Meanwhile, the director of the YPD sequel Sangeeth Sivan has also similar plans. The script of Cheers is ready. Once he finishes with Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, he will lay his hands on Cheers.
Cheers is an emotional story of a son and a misunderstood father and how relationship changes. It is said that Sunny wants to launch both Cheers and Ghayal Returns under the banner of Vijeta Films with his father as the producer.
