Let’s all sing in unison…congratulations and celebrations… Why are we so gay…we mean happy…well tonight (1 February 2013) TV’s dusky beauty Reshmi Ghosh is all set to tie the knot with actor Siddharth Vasudev. It seems to be the season of weddings in the tellydom. Ajay Chaudhary tied the knot with Jyoti Makker in the middle of January, Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Vivian Dsena also took their relationship to the next level earlier this month, and Ashish Sharma and Archana Taide went on to take the holy nuptial vows yesterday (31 January 2013). And now comes the turn of Reshmi and Siddharth. The lovely couple met on the sets of Shobha Somnath Ki (they both were a part of the project), and fell head over heels in love with each other. So on the D-day, we decided to chat with the groom and ask him how he feels before taking the big leap. “Though the wedding is in the evening, I’ve already started decking up for I am very slow when it comes to dressing up,” smiled Siddharth. So has he managed to talk to Reshmi at all since the morning? “No, I just haven’t been able to talk to her as she is busy with the haldi ceremony at her place. But to know what’s happening there, I have been in constant touch with her friends.” Butterflies partying in your stomach, giving you nervous sensations? “I am just concentrating on dressing up and that’s it.” You are one focused man. So let’s talk about honeymoon plans? “Nothing has been planned yet. But I would love to take Reshmi to Kashmir since that is my homeland. So naturally, there is this emotional connect with the place. However, since currently she has a show in hand, I am not sure when that would be possible.” The couple will have a traditional Bengali wedding. Here’s wishing the couple a happy married life!!!
