A page from the personal diary of Mudit Nayar Hello everyone, this is Mudit Nayyar, your Jeet Saluja from Anamika on Sony Entertainment Television. Today, I am here to tell you something about me. Being the son of a businessman (he is into manufacturing and dealing of agricultural products), it was on the cards for me to join him in his endeavour. I was quite prepared for it. After pursuing my Masters, I was all set to lend a helping hand in my father’s business in Allahabad when one fine day my dad (Ravindra Kumar Nayyar) called me up and told me to go to Mumbai and give one chance to my acting talent that had been my passion all along. And this is from where I started exploring my passion. Whatever I am today, it is because of my father. It sounds a kind of filmy dialogue for people when I tell them this. But for me, it is larger than life and a reality. Since my dad had many responsibilities when he was of my age, he couldn’t explore his talent. So, he wanted me to discover mine and live my dreams. It’s a blessing for me that I have a father like him in this life. When I landed in Mumbai, I first opted to polish my acting skills by joining a coaching class. After that, I started taking up some commercial ads besides appearing in a few films like Aakrosh and Tezz. Even today when my father comes to Mumbai to visit me, he feels proud to see me growing and the way I carry my acting business. One thing that I will always miss is my family and my original place of abode, Allahabad because the silence and peaceful atmosphere of the city is very hard to find here in Mumbai. The Maha Kumbh of Allahabad is something I can never forget. This is the time when people from all over the country come to be a part of the Kumbh and take a dip in the holy Sangam. Well, this is all for now. This is your friend Mudit taking your leave. I promise to come back soon with some more interesting stuff concerning me. Till then, goodbye and enjoy life.
