BLAST FROM PAST! Disney+ Hotstar takes the audience back to the ’80s with the teaser of Dil Bekaraar
MUMBAI: The OTT platform has become the home of new and fresh content that couldn’t find its target audience on the big screen but was too much for the small screen as well. Over the years, we have seen some bold and refreshing concepts being brought forth on our digital screens and attain cult level success. And now Disney+ Hotstar is all set to bring another such project forward.

Today, the platform unveiled the teaser of their upcoming project, Dil Bekaraar. This family drama is based on Anuja Chauhan’s bestselling Novel, Those Pricey Thakur Girls and stars Raj Babbar, Poonam Dhillon, Sahher Bambba and Akshay Oberoi in the lead.
The show is set in the Delhi of the ’80s and the teaser gives us a glimpse into the fun and frolic dynamics of the Thakur family. The light-hearted drama series unravels the day-to-day life of the Thakur family, joining them as they fight their ideological conflicts amidst the sweet and spicy equations of a family from a time when there were no mobiles or internet. There is love, conflict, romance and a twist promised in the show that sees the Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas debutante, Sahher, as a Doordarshan news reader.
Produced by Sobo Films and directed by Habib Faisal of Ishaqzaade and Do Dooni Chaar fame, Dil Bekaraar will be arriving soon as a Disney+ Hotstar original.
