Like every person, our TV actors also can’t stay without Facebook. From daily timeline posts to uploading photo-packed albums, they are totally obsessed with their personal and fan pages on Facebook.
To know more about it, we called up a few TV actors and asked if they can ever imagine to spend a day without logging on to Facebook. Here’s what they shared:
Handsome lad Shantanu Maheshwari who is seen as Swayam in Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance said, “Personally it would not be a big thing for me.
I don’t get time to access by Facebook account everyday because of my busy shooting schedule. But through Facebook, I am able to connect with my fans. I get to know what they feel about me and my performance. It is very helpful for an actor to know what his fans think about him.”
Vahbbiz Dorabjee, who recently got married to Vivian D’sena (Colors’ Madhubala) shared, “Facebook plays a pivotal role in my life; it’s like an extended family to me. Through Facebook, we are able to stay in touch with our school pals, old pals, teachers and family members staying in far flung places. It also helps actors to connect with their fans. I like it when fans keep posting about me and edit my photos. So it is the most fastest and convenient way to stay in touch. In short, I can’t imagine a day without Facebook.”
Siddharth Shukla aka Shiv from Colors’ Balika Vadhu averred, “I don’t have an account on Facebook and I never felt like opening an account on it. So, it really doesn’t really matter to me if Facebook exists or not.”
Hot and sexy Niaa Sharma, who is currently seen as Maanvi in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai stated, “I am totally hooked on to Facebook; I just love posting statuses and uploading photos. I specially click photos to upload it on Facebook. Also, it is a medium to reach your fans. I am glad that my fans have opened up so many accounts on Facebook. So Facebook, please live longer.”
“Once in a day I check my Facebook account. I like to interact with my fans. Facebook is a medium where one can get updates about the world news and that of fashion, food etc. One can also promote his/her business through Facebook. So, in all, Facebook plays an important role in everyone’s life,” said Rithvik Dhanjani aka Arjun from Pavitra Rishta.
Lastly, Ragini Khanna who will be soon seen anchoring the kid’s reality show India's Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV added, “I cannot live without Facebook; it is like a newspaper for me. Once I wake up, the first thing I do is I check my Facebook account; I am addicted to it. I like to read funny jokes and also like to post about my whereabouts. The funny part is that there has also been a bhajan made on Facebook. So, imagine Facebook can reach to God too.” (laughs)
Happy Birthday, Facebook!!!
