MUMBAI: Covid-19 cases are rising rapidly in the country once again. In many states, night curfew has been announced, and in a couple of states, theatres, malls, and salons are shut. And now, Covid has once again hit the entertainment industry badly as many TV celebs have been tested positive for Covid-19 in the past few days. Check out the list below…
‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2’ actor Nakuul Mehta was tested positive a few days ago. He had posted about it on Instagram, “Since your boy feels less foggy in his mind today, quick health update, no one really asked for. Grateful for Will Smith, a barrage of medicines, YOU on Netflix, Modern Love Podcast on Spotify, Ali Sethi’s melancholic voice, some Christmas lights, my diary, and my house lady’s warm meals to give me company as I take on the mantle of beating Covid! We shall overcome…”
A few days ago, ‘Naagin’ actor Arjun Bijlani had also tested positive for Covid-19. He had posted about it on Instagram and asked his fans to keep him in their prayers.
Sumona Chakravarti was tested positive for the virus today. She tweeted, “I have tested positive for covid with moderate symptoms. Quarantined at home. Would request anyone who has come in contact with me in the last week to please get yourself tested. Thank you.”
Drashti Dhami was tested positive yesterday. The actress had informed her fans about it on Instagram, “Just some good things to keep me company as I fight the 3rd wave! One of the most successful television producers, Ekta Kapoor, was also tested positive recently. She had posted on Instagram, “Despite taking all precautions I have tested covid positive. I am fine and request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves.”
